AHA Toner: Combination Skin

Whilst all the toners are required to perform similar functions, particular ingredients are used to ensure that this toner pays particular attention to balancing oil production. It also includes specific ingredients to enable it to fight infections, protect & heal the skin.

How can the AHA Toner: Combination Skin benefit you?

Anti-ageing: Antioxidant fruit acids, plant extracts and essential oils combine to ·exfoliate dead cells ·increase cell turnover and regeneration ·stimulate collagen and elastin ·neutralise free radicals

Deep Cleanses: removing dead skin cells and cleansing the pores by dissolving waste not reached by conventional cleansers can help avoid blocked pores, blemishes and infections.

Balances Oil Secretion: The dead skin build up, or cellular debris can cause clogged pores. The fact that the skin is dry also causes the sebaceous glands to produce more oil. By removing the build up of dead skin cells normal oil production should resume.

Soothes and Hydrates

Protects and Heals: A powerful cocktail of vitamins, plant extracts and essential oils fight any infections and assist in any healing required.

Maintains the skin’s pH: The skin has a level of acidity of about pH 4 to 5.5. In addition to helping protect skin from "the elements" (such as wind or pollutants), this “acid mantle” as it is known inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria and fungi. Loss of acidity causes the skin becomes more prone to damage and infection. Over washing or using cleansers that are too strong can result in the loss of the acid mantle.

Caution: The removal of surface cellular debris may render the skin more vulnerable to UV light. An appropriate sunscreen should therefore be used in conjunction with this product.
